American forces confirm Iran fired seven projectiles at neighboring Kuwait and Bahrain

A recent video release from Iran's state broadcaster, IRIB, dated March 26, 2026, purportedly showcases the second phase of the 82nd wave of missile attacks targeting Israel and US bases in the United Arab Emirates and Kuwait.

The footage comes amid heightened tensions, as the US president issued a warning to Iran on March 26, urging the country to engage in talks to bring an end to the Middle East war "before it is too late", following Tehran's public rejection of US attempts to resolve the nearly four-week conflict.

The conflict began on February 28, when Israel and the US launched strikes against Iran, resulting in the death of the country's supreme leader and sparking a war that has spread across the Middle East, causing chaos in global markets and driving oil prices upward.

According to US military officials, Iran launched seven ballistic missiles towards neighboring Gulf nations, including Kuwait and Bahrain, on Friday, just hours after four Iranian "one-way attack" drones were intercepted.

US Central Command, or CENTCOM, reported that six of the missiles launched by Iran were successfully intercepted, while the seventh missile did not reach its intended target, with no reports of harm to US personnel.

CENTCOM also disputed Iranian claims of damaging the US 5th fleet headquarters in Bahrain, stating that these claims are false, in a statement posted on the social media platform X.
