Airstrikes by US and Israeli forces result in the death of Iranian Revolutionary Guard's top intelligence officer
Major General Majid Khademi, the head of the Intelligence Organisation of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, was killed on Monday in a US-Israeli strike, according to the Revolutionary Guards.
nThe Guards announced his death in a Telegram post, describing it as a "criminal terrorist attack by the American-Zionist enemy" that occurred at dawn.
nThe Revolutionary Guards referred to Major General Khademi as the "powerful and educated" leader of their intelligence organisation.
nThe attack resulted in the martyrdom of Major General Khademi, as stated by the Guards in their Telegram channel post.
