Adeleke boasts of workers' rights achievements, ridicules APC

According to a statement issued by Governor Adeleke's spokesperson, Olawale Rasheed, on Thursday, the governor dismissed criticism from the Osun APC, emphasizing his administration's dedication to the well-being of workers.

The statement described the Osun APC's past treatment of workers and pensioners as "grave, life-threatening and deliberately inhuman", noting that workers and residents do not want to see a return to such leadership.

The administration has fulfilled key promises to Osun workers, including improved conditions of service, regular promotions, and payment of due allowances, which was acknowledged by the mass endorsement of the governor's re-election from 2024 to 2025.

Despite financial constraints, the administration has maintained a balanced distribution of resources and is preparing to absorb new staff as needed and when resources become available.

Osun workers are aware of the administration's commitment to their interests, and Governor Adeleke and his officials prioritize the needs of all cadres of workers.
