2027: Key APC Figures Back Yari's Group to Support Tinubu's Bid for Another Term

A crucial development has emerged within the All Progressives Congress, as certain stakeholders have opted to utilize The Renewed Hope Network as a key vehicle to garner widespread support for President Bola Tinubu's re-election bid in the 2027 presidential elections.

This decision was made following a high-level meeting between the stakeholders, who lead over 1,500 registered support groups, and the technical team of The Renewed Hope Network, which is headed by Comrade Okpokwu Ogenyi and Prof. Tunji John Asaolu.

According to Dr. Ak Peters, Deputy Director General of the APC Support Groups Council, The Renewed Hope Network is backed by Abdulaziz Yari, a former Governor of Zamfara state and current senator representing Zamfara West, and serves as a primary platform for grassroots mobilization ahead of the 2027 presidential elections.

The Renewed Hope Network has initiated a large-scale mobilization effort, recruiting Polling Unit Canvassers across all polling units in Nigeria, thereby laying the groundwork for effective grassroots engagement in the lead-up to the January 16, 2027 presidential election.

Dr. Peters noted that the level of acceptance of The Renewed Hope Network among Nigerians has been unprecedented, and the APC Support Groups Council is also on board with this development.

The Renewed Hope Network has established comprehensive structures and strategies aimed at securing a resounding victory for President Tinubu in 2027, with a focus on building a formidable grassroots political movement in support of the President.

The network aims to establish a presence in every corner of the country, and Dr. Peters expressed confidence that the remaining 2,000 support groups will join The Renewed Hope Network between now and Easter, in addition to the 1,500 that have already approved a partnership.

With the backing of Senator Yari, no effort will be spared in mobilizing Nigerians to ensure President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's swearing-in for a second term on May 29, 2027.
