2027: Kaduna will witness a crushing APC victory, claims Speaker Abbas with confidence

As the 2027 general elections approach, Speaker of the House of Representatives Tajudeen Abass has given President Bola Tinubu a vote of confidence, assuring him that the All Progressives Congress, APC, will achieve a landslide victory in the state.

The Speaker explained that leaders from the three Senatorial Districts are now working in tandem to guarantee a 100 percent victory for the ruling party, marking a significant shift from previous years when Southern Kaduna predominantly supported the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

During a courtesy visit to the President, the Speaker stated that the delegation's presence was a symbol of unity, with Comrade Shehu Sani representing the Central zone, Senator Sunday Marshall representing the Southern zone, and himself representing the Northern zone.

The Speaker briefed the President on the progress of APC in Kaduna, emphasizing that the party has gained widespread acceptance across the state, and expressed confidence that the 2027 elections are guaranteed to yield a landslide victory for the APC.

In the past, the APC's support was largely limited to zones one and two, but the Governor's efforts have helped to expand the party's reach to zone three, which was previously a PDP stronghold.

Senator Sunday Marshall, who recently defected from the PDP to the APC, was part of the delegation, along with other lawmakers who made the switch, demonstrating the growing strength of the APC in the state.

The Speaker assured the President that Kaduna is ready to deliver a landslide victory for the APC in the 2027 elections, with the party's message and achievements resonating across all zones.

Senator Sunday Marshal Katung, representing Kaduna South Senatorial District, echoed the Speaker's sentiments, stating that the delegation's visit was aimed at assuring the President of Kaduna's support for the APC in 2027.

Senator Katung highlighted the President's development initiatives in his senatorial district, including the establishment of a university and a Federal Medical Centre, which have fostered a sense of inclusiveness and won over supporters for the APC.

Senator Shehu Sani noted that Kaduna State, formerly the capital of Northern Nigeria, has historically been divided in its voting patterns, with the northern part supporting the APC and its predecessors, while the southern part, which is predominantly Christian, has supported the PDP.

However, Senator Sani observed that for the first time in the state's history, the Muslim North and the Christian South are united in their resolve to re-elect Governor Uba Sani and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027, driven by the verifiable achievements on the ground.

The Senator cited the federal government's interventions in health, education, and infrastructure, as well as the Governor's efforts to build bridges between the North and the South, as key factors in fostering unity and support for the APC.

Senator Sani expressed gratitude for the positive impact of Governor Uba Sani and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's leadership on Kaduna State, which has given the state a new lease of life since 2023.
