2027: Akinfolarin Rallies Ondo South APC Machinery in Support of Tinubu and Other Party Nominees

Former member of the House of Representatives and All Progressives Congress (APC) senatorial aspirant, Rt. Hon. Mayowa Akinfolarin, has mobilised his political structures across Ondo South Senatorial District to work for the victory of President Bola Tinubu and all APC candidates in the 2027 general elections.

Akinfolarin said the interest of the party and the success of President Tinubu’s re-election bid should take precedence over individual political ambitions.

Speaking at a meeting with party leaders, women, youths and grassroots coordinators from the six local government areas in the senatorial district, he said the gathering was aimed at strengthening the party’s electoral machinery and ensuring the APC presents a united front ahead of the 2027 polls.

The former federal lawmaker, who recently contested the APC senatorial ticket for Ondo South, urged members of his political structure to close ranks and work for the success of all APC candidates in the state.

According to him, the APC remains a party founded on discipline, sacrifice and respect for constituted authority.

“Every loyal party member must stand by the decisions of the leadership of the party in order to preserve the unity and strength of the progressive family,” he said.

Akinfolarin also commended the Minister of Interior, Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, for his support before, during and after the party’s senatorial primary, describing him as “a political lion” whose leadership and commitment have continued to inspire confidence among party members in the state.

Also speaking, the Director-General of Akinfolarin’s political structure, Nimbe Tawose, appreciated party leaders, stakeholders and supporters for their support during the senatorial primary.

Tawose also praised Tunji-Ojo for what he described as purposeful leadership, saying his approach had strengthened party cohesion through strategic engagement, inclusiveness and grassroots mobilisation.

He urged APC members across Ondo State to remain united, shun divisive tendencies and continue to support the party leadership.

“The APC’s greatest strength lies in its unity and collective resolve. We are confident the party will continue to record overwhelming electoral victories under the leadership of President Tinubu,” Tawose said.
